Arrival at Muscat International airport, transfer to Muscat. Overnight in Muscat.

Visit Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque (except on Fridays), a splendor of unique Islamic architecture. Drive through the Ministries. Stop at the traditional Mutrah Souk. Get a glance at Oman’s culture, at the Museum. Stroll along for a view of His Majesty Sultan Qaboos’s Palace, the Al Alam Palace. Stop at the Amouage shop in Sabco, to learn about the most valuable perfume in the world, the gift of Kings. Overnight in Muscat.

Drive to Bimah sinkhole, a spectacular limestone crater with inviting blue-green water. Continue to Wadi Shab and enjoy a walk through the wadi. You will see pools appearing before you and may enjoy a refreshing swim. Enter Wadi Tiwi with its green pools and lush plantations. We head onto Qalhat to see Bibi Mariam Tomb (closed for archeological searches). Continue to Sur, famous for its trading and Dhow Building Yard. The turtles come to lay their eggs at night. Overnight in Sur.

Drive to Wadi Bani Khalid, one of the most picturesque wadis in Oman where water flows all year round. Continue to Wahiba sands, with its golden sand dunes. Meet a Bedouin family, do some dune bashing Enjoy the tranquility of the desert. Overnight in Wahiba sands desert.

Transfer to Ibra for a closer look at the watchtowers proudly looking over villages from the top of the hills, head towards Nizwa, which was once the capital of Oman, visit the traditional and craft Souk and the Fort of Nizwa with its large circular tower. The breathtaking view from the tower will show you how big the plantation is. Your journey then continues to Jebel Shams, “Sun Mountain”, Oman’s highest peak, 3009 M. Overnight in Jebel Shams.

Trek to the Abandoned village, walk is not compulsory. The view is just magnificent. Enter Wadi Nakhr, a narrow canyon, geologically spectacular, being one of the deepest canyons on the planet. Go deep inside to visit the village where the main activity is weaving, especially Omani rugs. Return to Muscat. Overnight in Muscat.

Transfer to Muscat airport. Arrive in Khasab (Mussandam) and meet your guide. Start your tour, Mountain Safari to Jebel Harim. Spectacular scenic routes through mountain and valleys. Visit centuries old village of Bait Al Qafl the old house and Khalidiya with its many acacia trees. Overnight in Musandam.

Dhow Cruise to Khor Sham in azure waters through a majestic fjord (Khor). Enjoy dolphin watching. The Dhow will anchor at Telegraph Island and Seebi Island for swimming and snorkelling in pristine waters. Overnight in Musandam.

Transfer to Khasab airport. Arrive to Salalah and transfer to your hotel. Overnight in Salalah.

Visit Nabi Ayub or Job’s Tomb just outside the Jabbali village. Continue to Mughsayl, and blow holes, the almost vertical holes, real geological wonders. Learn about the famous Frankincenses trees and the ritual of cutting the frankincense trees. Overnight in Salalah.

Visit of Sumhuram, the pre-islamic Frankincense port and beloved bird watching spot. Continue with Wadi Dirbat famous dam in the Dhofar mountain range. Visit Taqah Fort and drive to a fishermen’s village, Mirbat, famous for horses and the Frankincense trade. Overnight in Salalah.

Transfer to Salalah airport. Arrive in Muscat, transfer to your hotel. Overnight in Muscat.

Transfer to the Marina to board the Dolphin watching cruise. Dolphins are a familiar sight here in Oman; it is home to a variety of dolphins and whale species.
